BRADDOCK LOFTS PT. 2

Mayor John Fetterman¬†and his wife Gisele have transformed one of the first indoor car dealerships in the country to a modern space for their family of five. Absolute Win was their contractor. Their oldest son gave me a full tour and was pretty excited about being part of the pictures. Thanks to the Fettermans for being so welcoming when I asked to photograph their space! Please check out the Braddock links at the bottom of the post, to see all of the inspiring projects they have going on – especially the Free Store – a place that connects people in the community with donated clothing, toys and groceries. The PG ran an article in April that talks about how the store came to be. If you missed the first set of Braddock loft photos, you can see it here. Enjoy …

  2. that looks fantastic! i was born in Braddock in 1958! i moved away at 5 1/2 yrs old but it will always be “home” to me in my heart. i still visit what family i have left there when i can.

  3. I lived in Braddock for 21 years before moving to Maryland for employment. Braddock was a great town with many things to do and stay out of trouble when I grew up. Things have changed and hard people like you, the mayor, Patti Morgan and many more folks are making a difference in preserving the past.

Picture shown are of your new home but where is the new restaurant going to be established? When is the grant opening of the restaurant?

Hope to see you next time in town while visiting my mother who lives on Corey Avenue. Take care and have a great day and upcoming 4th of July weekend.
